“Liberty has never come from the government. Liberty has always come from the subjects of the government. The history of government is a history of resistance. The history of liberty is the history of the limitation of government, not the increase of it.”
-- Woodrow Wilson

Mission Statement

LiberateUS seeks to enable and encourage individual, proactive and positive actions that have the potential to change the Status Quo in American Government. Popular wisdom has it that an individual acting alone cannot change the world - but if each of us does our part, together we can shape the future.

LiberateUS Goals

Visualize a Positive Future for America.
Provide links and resources to help Educate the Public.
Encourage informed, open, honest, and fearless dialogue regarding our Nation.
Promote Volunterism and Activism towards Positive Change.
Promote ongoing dialogue with our elected representatives.

LiberateUS: Problems and Proactive Solutions

A Mainstream News Media that refuses to report the news, a Government that has abandoned the will of the People, and a popular culture that all too often places money and power above morality and justice, have created a dangerous situation for our Nation. Individuals must begin to take concrete personal actions toward changing the Status Quo. In absence of actions that have the potential to effect change, the Liberties that our forefathers fought and died for - and intended for US may be irrevocably lost.

LiberateUS is for truth. It is for the Constitution. It is for a true Representative Democracy - something we have lost along the way. LiberateUS believes that America is not beyond hope. A majority of Americans are good honest people who have forgotten that Freedom and Liberty are more than just slogans.

In keeping with the ideals and hopes expressed by George Washington in his Farewell Address, LiberateUS is about a belief that it is long past time for the Government of the United States to concern itself with America and American issues; much to our harm we have engaged our Great Nation in far too many "foreign entanglements".

Finally, it is not the intent of LiberateUS to promote any Party agenda - neither the Republicans nor the Democrats have a monopoly on truth or good works, and based upon the current state of our Nation, both parties share equally in the blame. George Washington was a true prophet when he warned of the dangers of Partisan Politics. In many cases, the deep divisions that we see in America today are a reflection of Party loyalties taking precidence over good judgement and common sense.

There is no question that America is in trouble. We have strayed far from the ideals of our Founding Fathers, and have lost much in the process. We cannot wait for 'someone' to come and save us from a Government borne of our own apathy; there are no saviours - there is only US. As the LiberateUS logo says, we cannot change the past, but we can shape the future - and now is the time.

"If you have time to whine and complain about something then you have the time to do something about it." -- Anthony J. D'Angelo
