Farther Out There

“A conspiracy is nothing but a secret agreement of a number of men for the pursuance of policies which they dare not admit in public”

— Mark Twain

The Federal Reserve, the Kennedy assassinations, The Council on Foreign Relations, Roswell, The Masons, The Skull and Bones Society, The Bilderberg Group, the 9-11 Truth Movement, and the list goes on … Secret agendas and shadowy societies abound in the world of Conspiracy Theories.

However, the term Conspiracy Theory does a disservice to the truth; the Mainstream Media and the Government, have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo, and are always ready to force the official version of a story upon us. The crafting of the story suits their agenda, and when they wave the Conspiracy Theory flag, we should be cautious — for here lie the deeper questions that they would prefer we not ask.

The truth is that conspiracies do exist, and have existed throughout history. Next time you hear the MSM or Government discrediting an alternative explanation as a Conspiracy Theory, ask yourself why. If the official version is true, what reason do they have to fear questions or alternative explanations? Truth is supported by sound evidence and rational thought; truth is incontrovertible. Is it just possible that the official story fails the test of evidence and rational thought? If so, how is it more plausible than an alternative explanation?

Perhaps the greatest conspiracy of all is the conspiracy between the MSM and Government to quash the very idea that conspiracies exist. If we truly believe this we are no longer thinking for ourselves; dogma becomes truth, and we are no longer free.
